November to Remember
I think November just might be my favorite month, which surprises me a little because I am a warm (not hot) weather person. But, there is something about the crisp air, the changing leaves, and gathering with my family in this season of gratitude that makes it truly special.
This November, I have had some notable client projects and partnerships that made this month even more enjoyable. I had the pleasure of collaborating with Mike Brown, Debbie Laxer, and Denise Corey. Just two weeks ago, Joelle LaGuerre and I partnered with Ayurvedic Health Coach, Marva Makle on a workshop for Black women called Restorative Rituals. Next month, we have a writing workshop for Black women featuring two accomplished Black women authors, one of whom is my mom!
I am spending a few weeks in California, and I’m so happy and grateful to have some extended time with my parents and siblings. When Hubs dropped me off at the airport, “California Dreaming” was playing on the radio right as we pulled up to the curb. So perfect.
The air is not quite as crisp, and palm trees don’t change colors, but it’s all good. I am loving spending quality time together walking on the beach, cooking and eating good food, and just laughing and enjoying each other. The perfect reset. I especially welcome the opportunity to rejuvenate before the year-end grind, so I have a little more fuel in the tank to get me through 2022.
I hope you will also unplug, recharge, and reflect a bit as we begin to close out the year.
