A year and a half ago, I completed the coaching certification program at N.C. State University and now, adding to my 25 years of experience in human resources, I’m a certified business coach.
Over the past few years, I’ve learned a lot about myself and the types of clients I enjoy coaching. My sweet spot is working with new leaders as they embark on their management journey. I am able to help new leaders navigate managing former peers, feeling comfortable sitting at the table as a leader, having difficult conversations with employees, and managing their managers. I’ve also helped new leaders learn how to let go of old skills so they can gain new ones.
If you are a new manager or you know someone getting started managing a team, please forward my email to them. I am offering introductory rates since my coaching practice is getting started. In just a few sessions I can help a new leader get off on the right foot.
“In working with Asila as my Business Coach, I have significantly changed my managerial and leadership approach. She has guided me into changing my techniques, viewing myself more objectively and being more flexible. Asila has helped me uncover areas that were problematic stumbling blocks and were impacting my development and leadership growth. She provided the guidance and tools needed to help me adjust these behaviors so I could be successful in getting positive results from others. Working with Asila has not only empowered me but has also empowered my team. Thank you, Asila, for helping make a difference in my career and life!” –Jennifer, IT Manager It’s a new year!
