Black History Month Poetry Reading
February 24, 2021 @ 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Join us for a free poetry reading featuring poets and writers who collaborated on the anthology, ENOUGH: Say Their Names…Messages from Ground Zero to the WORLD, an historic book depicting events following the death of George Floyd through writing and poetry, the board-up artwork, and photography that speak to the need for justice and equality through Black Lives Matter.
This book includes fresh, compelling, and diverse perspectives for readers of all levels and awareness. This anthology includes writers from across the country who share their work and how it relates to the art of a movement. The authors “hope permanent meaningful changes made now will make many of these tough conversations unnecessary for future generations.”
