’23 and Me
This year started off with a BANG! I think so many of us desperately want to turn the page on the last couple years of disruption with Covid-19 and “get back to normal”. I found that several clients wanted in-person team retreats and other events to jump start the new year. It’s been hectic. And also fun! I knew January was going to be wild as clients started pinging me last fall. So, I created some space for myself at the end of the month. It helped that a dear friend was turning 50 and wanted a girls getaway to celebrate her birthday (see what I mean about folks trying to reset?)!
After today, I am OFF this week on that girls trip. And I plan to do more traveling and getting away to spend time with loved ones this year. This does not mean I am retiring or I can’t take on new clients and projects. Not at all! I love what I do too much to step away! However, what it does mean is that I am being intentional about the work I do and when I do it. I will be building in time off like this week to make sure I am practicing the self-care strategies I share with my clients. I want to show up rested and refreshed for ya’ll! And, I have lots of good stuff happening this year to celebrate, including my 25th wedding anniversary with Hubs and my mom’s 80th birthday, to name a few.
Whether you are considering coaching, a workshop, a leadership development program, a team retreat, learning how to meditate, or if you want to focus on getting that new big job and you’re interested in my Jump Start Your Job Search program, now is the time to get yourself scheduled. In addition to my client projects and events, I have several standing commitments to facilitate new leader training and inclusion coaching for certified coaches. In addition, Joelle LaGuerre and I are developing our THRIVVE (Transforming Hurt & Racial Inequities into Vision, Value, & Empowerment) community for Black professional women with workshops, events, our new Facebook page, and by hosting regular Empowerment Circles. I hope you will join us and share with Black women in your network who could benefit from personal enrichment, professional development, and community.
I am excited about my 2023 goals and my commitment to myself to take regular breaks. What about you? What will you do to honor yourself this year? Let’s discuss how I can best support you. Click the link below to schedule a free discovery call with me.
